You're going to Love This! ^_^

The most amazing software that I've come acrossed in a loooong while I'd like to share with you. Let me tell you why this isn't your normal Diary or Organizer, but first: the link!

This amazing program is something I'm working on using every day (actually multiple times a day lol)has things that I couldn't even explain, but let me
'steal' their feature list and try to explain after why I personally love it. But first, as you all know, I'm very honest about whether something is safe or not to use. This software uses: Encryption of your data using industry-standard methods for your privacy and all your entries are protected by an optional password. I've also checked it via my own security software (which I always do) with Malwarebytes, Spybot Search&Destroy, Super Antispyware, Avast (both after, and during download) and Outpost. I have to say this is a definate program to look at, they will have a spot in my 'Hall of Fame' of software lol. Here's what it does: (stolen from their site ^^)

*Keep everyday records -- Save and browse your personal records in the Diary protected by a password and encryption.
*See your life -- Keep a regular record with the help of our life factors and see the results on a color Graph.
*Express yourself -- Record and play back voice entries in the Diary.
*Be organized -- Schedule puts a fully featured calendar at your fingertips to make sure you never miss anything important!
*Stay focused -- Use Tasks to set items you want to accomplish and monitor their progress.
*Never lose anything -- Notes will take care of that by providing a powerful way to organize any bits of information.
*Eat healthy -- Nutrition will let you create and share recipes and help you to understand and plan your dietary needs.
*Stay healthy -- Medication will remind you - it can even send you an e-mail, if you are away from your computer.
*Stay in touch -- Just enter all the important dates in the Contacts and you will be reminded of them when due.
* Be mobile-- you can use a portable version of SDS directly off your USB/flash/memory stick drive anywhere!

And more including:
# Run it directly off a USB or flash drive without installing on any machine.
# Optional password and auto-lock on inactivity settings.
# Multiple skins (visual styles) included.
# Fully resizable and customizable interface.
# Fast and reliable.
# Free support.

As soon as I can fix a few blog things, including it's theme (as it's doing wierd things to the images) it'll have a permanent side on my side thingy. Seriously, I think this program is so amazing, and I truly love using it. It's helping me to work on goals, keep up with my meds, and most of all, write! If I write things, it's kinda like a meditation for me, and it really helps me to refocus on things, if that makes sense. There's both a freeware version (which is amazing!) and priced editions that really make buying it deeefinately worthwhile. Guys I know every single one of you will enjoy this program and love it as much as I do. Check it out, see if you can prove me wrong. ^_~ ^^ In case you didn't click the link above, the addy is:http://www.sdiary.com/index.php

In other topics, I am going to be working on changing the theme, and also 'sectioning' up the various topics via different blogs (but all linked together like web pages) so that you can see blogs I've written according to certain types, like Software, Poetry, Misc Ramble etc. I'm also considering making a forums, and will do a 'mock-up' one of these days soon to see what you guys would think of it. Either way, I definately need a way to get input and thoughts from you, as it'll help me to know what sort of things you'd like to see, and what sort of stuff you have prefered. I'm thinking of a sort of guestbook/mini forum (if that makes sense). Tbh, I know I'll be writing a bit more often as time goes on, because that program I just mentioned has been helping me so dang much I can't even describe it. I love all of ya guys! Thanks for reading, and for listening to me ramble once again. ^^

Definately Of Interest! ^_^

Don't worry, I've not forgotten my dear lovies here! I also want to give kissies otc to those who've been in the Shoutbox (I think I might recognize a couple of you ^_~) I'm thinking of changing the theme btw...but don't worry, I always make sure the theme is relatively light and easy to read. I just am not very happy with some of the box shapes/widths, and all that junk. I'll ask too, your opinions just in case you prefer this one (after you see whatever I change to). To continue on to the post! :D Btw, all the blue below are clickable links ^^.

First of all, I'm not mentioning the below for any reason except that it's time for me to share my 'fun' daily 'yay'! lol It's like shopping w/o the guilt lol. But, for a long time I've kept this secret...however I realize it's not really a good thing to do so... So today I'm sharing it with you. If you decide to check it out, cool, if not, that's cool as well. If you've been reading my site, I hope you'd realize I'd not reccomend anything that's not safe lol. The site is completely safe and adware etc free. The software itself is adware/spyware free, that's something they mention themselves.

The subject here is called Giveaway Of The Day... but to the right you'll also see a little square. Everyday it updates with the software of that day (they update it via their site...cool huh?). So you can either see it here, or you can RSS them..or email updates. Let me tell you a bit about the site before you go merrily clicking ^_~

Software creators sometimes would like feedback on various software...a lot of times they are established but just want to know how the software they are selling is actually being recieved. Sometimes they also can get hints on how to improve their existing products...really amazingly cool! Anyways, everyday there's a 'Giveaway' (they also have a Game Giveaway, but it's not updated daily. I'll give the link for that in a moment). The software is given with a 'code' or 'exe' which will unlock the software so that you have it completely free! On some software, I like to see what the other opinions are before I download (you can see opinions/comments on the actual download page). I also encourage comments as well, if you do participate. It helps to keep software companies coming...and hopefully even more in the future. If you're still not sure whether you want to give it a go...hey no worries... in fact if you want just come here now and then and see what is being offered that day, and maybe you'll be interested enough to check it out. I always recommend doing research on any product/site, so please do so ^_^

In their Forums (which is actually pretty cool to scan through) there's a thread called: Good Software we Need to Know About (blue is clickable). Copying the first part to explain:

I see a lot of tripe in comments on front page like, 'theres better freeware and open source available than todays give away', etc.

So instead of wasting time on the front page bitching each other heres a sticky explaining it yourself.

So rules of combat are as follows:

Whatever is posted on the front page each 24 hour period you then have to come up with polite comments explaining why your example is better and if there is a linux or mac alternative if it's a windows release.

If it's only a windows release then no problems.

Only post here if:

1)it's freeware /Or
2)it's open source
3)has no spyware what so ever
4)you can provide a valid link to the home page that also explains about the application or game and provides a working download link.

That's all folks! ^_^ See you all soon! ^_^

Quick Post: Quote to Note

I heard this on a movie that's playing on TV, (the other movie I was going to watch is being interrupted by sports *growls*) and thought I'd share this with you.

Quote from Hitch

Never lie, steal, cheat, or drink.
But if you must lie, lie in the arms of the one you love.
If you must steal, steal away from bad company.
If you must cheat, cheat death.
And if you must drink, drink in the moments that take your breath away.

A Semi Update ^_~

Okay, got a few things to post on my 'ongoing' new post that I'm working on for you all. It's been a few days since my last update, so I thought I'd give you at least a part of it ^_~.

I did want to mention though, that I switched Templates, and although you can't see the wording over by the poll (grr) it says it'll be up for 2 weeks. I'd really like to see some votes...if I need to, I'll post a link to what it was previously (screenshot). The parts that say 'to be updated' will be :p Just give me some time ^^. And yes, I'm still watching the shoutbox below with happiness! I can't wait to read more. ^_^ For those of you coming into the 'circle' I'll be updating soonish with some future blogger ideas (I'll explain later, so stay up to date ^_~. The RSS feed will help you a lot, I hope ^_^ Okay, onto the 'post' ^_~

Got a small 'life' annoyance to share and a few things that I'm sharing...one is something I read recently (can't remember from where >.<) and the other is a poem written by me that's going to be in one of the editions of Poetry.com's books...not sure which one *shrugs*. I was thinking the other day, as I watched TV and had the millionth 'Extenze' commercial run across my molested television as I rushed to change the channel. Seriously lol. We have spyware, adware and firewalls for our computers. We have junk filters and junk 'boxes' for our emails. Yet we can't control what comes into homes via other media. Lately TV stations are bombarding our TV shows with 'sub' screen ads, lil 'cute' popouts of various TV show's waving at us or racing across the bottom of the screen. Yes, I realize how retarded that sounds, but if you've seen what I'm talking about, shaddup :p. The other day I was watching the very intelligent show for the sophisticated person... (lol) of Family Guy. I love that show, btw! Anyways, as it was ending, there was a 'popup' under the credits saying it was brought to the viewer from McDonalds. Seriously?

It was bad enough when volume began to 'increase' on TV stations for commercials (does that annoy anyone else? ^^ Seems to be getting worse lately, imo Oo) ...every station seems to have multiple 'paid advertising' slots in their programming (Apparently commericals aren't paying enough? lmao). But I can deal with that...in the 'golden day' of life, there wasn't TV after a certain time frame anyways...I recall the "This concludes the end of the broadcasting day" ♪♫ (Anthem and local photos) ♪♫ - cut scene to a really bad color 'beeeep' screen lol. And then Stations began to put their virtual watermark...I actually sort of like that, helps me to remember what station I'm on lol. But commercials infiltrating our viewing during a show...that's just annoying. WTB TV Spam Filters! ^^ Okay, /end rant ^_~

Here's the little tidbit that I found on some site, it was just posted as part of the header on the pages, and sadly I can't remember where I found it. I'm pretty sure it's an open license sort of 'anonymous writer' sort of thing, as it tickles my memory from somewhere, but if I'm wrong, please correct me. After that, is my 'sharing' moment ^_^. I just thought this was rather thoughtful and made me pause and think. I hope it does for you too. ^_~.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Well, what do you think? :)

Okay, now my poem, so that I'm not 'spamming' your screen into the screensaver mode ^_~ There was a few edits that I wish I had made before it was published, but it's more of a nitpicking on the wording and a few phrasing annoyances. But it's not my worst, either way I don't think. I look forward to your thoughts. :)

Lilies Fading
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning Lilies in the noon
Heat of mid year casts doom
Time is ticking it's mournful sound
Broken tears of soul trickle down
Time flies when one is having fun
When naught, heart seeks the sun
Neither heal nor mend does this
Broken hearts curse the bliss
Is any dream too lofty and far
Hope seems to float in the stars
Life wears one down to the qwick
And yet do we find what makes us tick
Lightening brightens the sky
Darkness blinds the eyes
Straining forward we ache to see
The answer to "What will become of me".
Lord are you there in our prayers
Or are your answers covered in layers
Is death a thing of the soul
If so, maybe I've already felt its toll
Morning Lilies in the noon
Frozen grip in the heart casts doom
Time is ticking it's mournful sound
As I, prepare to lay down...
This post will probably go into a new "Catagory"...not sure what it will be yet though lol. Maybe Soapbox? But it's got some of my poetry... lol I'll think of a solution somehow :p
Please let me know what you think, not just of the poem, but the variety that I'm putting into the forums. Any ideas are very appreciated, and feedback helps a lot to 'mold' what happens in the future to help share with you things that you might be interested in. Talk to you soon! ^_^
5/09/2009
Yep, Ya Know It's Been Done Before...
Don't ya hate when you're monkeying around and mess up your pages? ^^
I was creating a "site" to list what some of the ideas will be for this site, as well as testing some templates and get your opinion (as this one is sorta girly).
And saved the wrong xml :p
Lucky for me, I found the cache image, so I'll be able to 'restore' what was there, but it'll take me a bit. I'll make sure that the Shoutbox is restored first of all, so that you can comment, support or commiserate lol. So let me know to stick with it, give me a lil push :D Love you guys! ^_^
5/08/2009
Happily Suprised ^^
I just now scrolled down and noticed the guestbook/shoutbox messages ^^. I promise to update this soon, as I didn't realize I had anyone reading it :) Give me a few days..no worries about whether I'm going to or not, as my WoW subcription is going to be suspended for the month ^^. So you know I'm going to have a bit of free time on my hands. ^_~
Thank you all so dang much, and much loves!
Jeania
P.S. I'll be updating the widgets soonish as well...I've got quite a lot of them that I use on my toolbar. (Which I'll create one to share as well...if there's anything in paticular that you would be interested in that would be considered 'general' please let me know via comments! ^_^)
11/30/2008
Better Late Than Never :P
So I'm a bit behind on my update :P But I've been trying to get my life organized -.- For those who don't know....
Organized is an
EVIL word... v.v
I need to fix my links over there <--- after all, they are a year old and I'm a 'web-tinkerer' lol. I'm not even sure how to describe that, so don't ask!
:P
Just to let ya know some of what I'm using to help "organize" myself...perhaps they might help you too. Of note, I will not post anything toooo personal in the blog...otherwise it'd not be "open" to the public :P. Yes you! :p
After my "organzing links" are my "organizing my computer" links
:p Even that gets messy, ya know ^_^ But everything posted below is free. Only the very last (sadly the very best) has a "buy" but there is a 30 day trial that I DO reccomend.
I'll post something funny in the next few days...but until then, here's the links!
:)
http://www.google.com/ig or otherwise known as IGoogle...you can add your links, your calendar (I have a different one then the standard Gmail), and have multiple pages. For example, have your Important Stuff on the first page, add some cool gadgets to the 2nd, etc. I made one specially for the calendar though, because it's big and I want it full size lol. So everything (mostly) that I'm posting I have in my "IGoogle" site.
http://www.keepandshare.com
This is an amazing place...the calendar I was just referring to is where this is at. But it's not just calendars, it also allows for Document Sharing and Creating (much like the Google one), ToDo lists, Address Book, Photo Blogs, Bookmarks (not only for if you are sharing your "views" but if you just want to organize your "good" bookmarks into a place that's not going to need to be "reformated" lol) But there's also a Discussion area...Sort of like creating a forum specifically for an idea or plan, people comment back and forth in the "group" on it. Really really neat, and I'm not explaining it well lol. They have many video tutorials, so check them out.
http://www.flylady.net
It's difficult to know exactly how to describe this site...but it's one I'm going to be working on using a lot. Life a bit of a clutter? This site is amazing at working on yourself...from cleaning, taking your medications, everything. There's both baby steps, and also a "control journal" although if you do work on this, work on it after the baby steps. Even if your life is relatively organized as it is, it doesn't hurt to do the "baby steps" so that you can train yourself to do things in a more efficient and less time consuming manner. Trust me on this lol. There is a "shop" area, but you honestly don't have to buy a thing.
And a few things for your desktop:
EssentialPIM
This is an excellent desktop program...the link I put for you is the comparison of the free vs. pay, but honestly you can do juuust fine with the free, it's an excellent program. Calendar with Alarms, To Do, Notes, Contacts, Address Book, Schedule...it's amazing. Yes, there's things on it that you can find on the link I about KeepandShare...but it's still a great desktop app if your someone who needs that...and you can't ignore the dang alarms -.-.
Revo Uninstaller Just as it says...but do make sure you read the instructions. It's way better than using your own computer's uninstaller, as you'd be suprised at how many things are left behind by programs.
Avast! Amazing, is all I have to say. Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Rootkit... They also have a Virus Cleaner program...what that is (forgive me for pasting some of it):
If, despite all the security measures you take, your computer gets infected by a virus or worm, it is necessary to disinfect your system somehow. While for some viruses the only 100% reliable method of disinfection is restoring your system from backups, for many common infections this is not really necessary and the virus/worm can be removed quite easily.
SpyBot Search & Destroy You've probably heard of this one...I do have to reccomend not using the "teatimer" option that you can have inside it, but I do love this program. Easy to use, as well.
TuneUp Utilities It's not free, but there is a 30 day trial...I suggest giving it a trial lol. It's my favorite program, by far, even if I only have the "2008" version lol. Seriously though, check it out.
If your a computer beginner,I suggest using only the following Tabs
Free Up Disk Space ~
  • Unnecessary files and backups. Yes it is safe to remove the backups, as it does keep your latest backup.
  • Maintain Windows ~
    • One Click (safe, very safe)
    • Registry Cleaner (Feel free to get rid of all those beasts)
      Drive Defrag (have the option check to automatically defrag if it needs to. If you defrag too often, believe it or not you can hurt your computer...Defragging means it has to go over every single area of your computer, so yeah = wear and tear. Let it figure out the best time, by checking that.)
      Registry Defrag (I'd only use this if you do the "scan" and it shows that you can improve it by 20 percent or more.)
    Additional Tools ~
    • System Information This is a handy gadget, tells you a lot about your computer, and can assist you in recieving help from tech if you ever need it (like your computer company or whatever.
    • Shredder Make sure you want to shred what you are shredding...no going back on this one.
    • Uninstall Safe, but I still prefer the Revo Uninstaller mentioned above :)
    That's all for now! Now lemme alone! :P Until next time!
    Nerves
    Have you ever wondered to yourself where nervousness come into play? I was pondering this to myself, as I was experiencing it a lil while earlier. Everybody feels this way sometimes, whether it's about meeting someone, about how you look, or what others might think of this or that.
    And one realizes how everybody does feel that way, but it doesn't always take the pressure off, does it. ^^ People make fools of themselves all the time, worrying about things, when if they just relaxed, there'd be less to worry about. Ah but not as easy as that, is it. So, here's a step by step guide on how to ease nervousness.
    1) A hammer can be useful in some situations. After all, if you drop a hammer on say, your foot, for example, your not as nervous when your feeling the pain from the stinging of this injury. However, then your nervous about how stupid you just looked. Hmm, maybe this step is to be avoided. Let's try again.
    2) Laughing Gas. Works wonders about easing those nerves. After all, when you have laughing gas you aren't thinking about the fact that the dentist is looking at how badly you cared for your teeth, you just find everything...groooovy. So would this work in a general encounter? A lil laughing gas...relax....but then you'd have to worry about the person wonderin why you are acting like such a dork. Pfft, this step wouldn't work either.
    3) Drunkenness. When your drunk, the world's a party! Unless you end up puking, cradling that porcelain god, positive that it will save you and bring you redemption. I suppose that wouldn't work, for one thing, it's hard to have a conversation while your puking in the bathroom. "Oh, I think *barf spew gag* that the Broncos *spray* have a *oh god, this porcelain, my head is spinning...what was i talking about?* a good chance at *oh I think I'm dying...this is my last moments, oh god, can my stomach expunge anymore??* Playoffs.
    Probably not the finest moment ever in one's life. Probably not the best for an impression either, and afterwards you got the nervous "oh geez, what did I do last night" and the "oh god, how foolish did I look" and hopefully you were spared the Coyote Ugly syndrome. Perhaps this is one to skip as well.
    4) Looking at one's feet. After all, how can you get nervous when you talk to your feet? Ah but then there's the drawback of looking like an uninterested dork who can't communicate, and alas, there wanders away your company. Ah, but then your not nervous, because your alone...all alone....completely and utterly alone.... Okay, maybe this step wouldn't work either.
    5) Filling one's mouth with food. You can't look like a fool when you can't talk, and after all, at least your looking them interestedly in the eyes. Ah but then, you can't respond (or if you do, they walk away faster) and you end up looking like you can't pass a buffet table without pause. Ah and then there's the lovely addition to food on your shirt. Very classy. Perhaps this isn't the step to follow either.
    In summary, there is no step by step guide, as you just gotta get through it and relax. Everyone gets nervous, because we're all human, and the world sucks. Ah but then you have the bright moments. Like this blog that has made you smile for 1.5 seconds of your life. Don't you feel enriched? Now if you wish to kick me, do so, in the comments section. ^_~ Don't blame me if you actually follow those steps and they don't work. Because I will tell you, they don't work :p Just go with the flow, and until next time I have a random thought to squiggle out ~
